I was wondering if it’s best practice to go into pick up an application? I feel like they might get a sample of your initiative if you physically pickup the job application in person. What do you think?
It depends. In some companies, it will benefit you to go in and speak directly to a manager or supervisor when you pick up your application for employment. These include restaurants and other positions where appearances are important. Most industries prefer it if you apply online though, as this reduces their workload. You also might be taking someone away from a task they were working on, which could be an annoyance. Ultimately it depends on the situation and your personal feeling towards the job possibility. Use your discretion.
