Job Applicant QuestionsCategory: Applicationwhy are some jobs advertised and some not?

I’ve noticed that some companies advertise job openings and some don’t. Why does this happen? It makes finding a job worth applying to hard.

It comes down to that particular company’s budget. Some companies have enough turnover that advertising for particular positions is worthwhile, and others find that spending money on filling positions is actually harming the company more than helping it. This is something that management in each company looks at on their own and makes a decision on. By going directly to the website of the company that you are interested in working at, you can find much more complete information about what they are looking for than going to a job site.
