First of all, it’s completely okay to get nervous at an interview. This shows that it’s important to you and you care about it. However, how you show that nervousness is key. One thing we recommend to overcome the nerves is to prepare your answers ahead of time. That way, even if you are nervous when a question is asked, you know exactly what you want to say already. This gives you less opportunity to “freeze up” as your answer will already be scripted for you. Other little things, like sitting up straight and keeping eye contact, can show your interviewers that you are confident and poised, even if you really aren’t.
