Ive heard that there are things that can really hurt your chances of getting an interview if they’re on your resume. What are those things?

The thing that hurts you most when it comes to your resume is having a history of unemployment or a lot of bouncing around from job to job. However, things like long and unnecessary objective statements, personal details, too many “special skills,” and statements like “references available upon request” can all hurt you. And no matter what, do not put anything that is untrue on your resume. This can lead to disqualification for the position, or immediate termination if the lie is discovered after being hired.
