Types of Jobs
There are many jobs available at Dick’s Sporting Goods, both entry level and professional. There is a need for cashiers, sales associates in the different departments, and customer service specialists. Sales leaders are also needed, as are sales managers, front end managers, assistant managers, and general managers.
Pay for entry level jobs tends to start out around $8.50 to $9 per hour. Sales associates may work off of commission on certain items within the store, boosting this number a little. Sales leaders can see their pay go up to around $22,000 or $24,000 per year, on average. If you are a talented salesperson, this number can go much higher, especially if you have a busy location. Supervisory positions can make $10 per hour starting out, but can quickly move up the ranks within the store. General managers can expect around $60,000 per year in salary when they first begin, but proven store managers with experience can make much more than this if they show that they can boost profits for the company.
Dick’s also has many corporate roles available. Their headquarters is located in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. They also have a need for warehouse employees and drivers.
